Free Program Updates For VisualSpice Version 5.xx

7/7/04 - Fixed demo version problem

Before installing this version 5.xx update:

  1. First BACKUP any models or libraries you created because the steps below will delete them.
  2. Uninstall your existing version of VisualSpice
  3. Delete the old folder where it was installed
  4. Close all Applications
  5. Delete vpsys5.sys from your computer (search your entire computer, including hidden files, make sure this file does not exist)
  6. Delete vpsys55.sys from your computer (search your entire computer, including hidden files, make sure this file does not exist)
  7. Run regedit (select START from the menu, then RUN, then type regedit)
  8. Find HKEY_CURRENT_USER
  9. In that branch find Software
  10. In that branch find Island Logix
  11. Click ONCE on Island Logix, hit DEL key to delete the Island Logix entry
  12. Close regedit
  13. Download and Install the new version below.
  14. Before running the program, replace file vpsys55.sys from the directory where you installed VisualSpice with the one below.
